The Museum Rietberg's specialized library is also available to students of East Asian Art History. It is located in the basement of Villa Schönberg, Gablerstrasse 14. It is a reference library only; borrowing is not possible.

Many important fundamental works on East Asian art history are also available in the holdings of  the UB Asian and Oriental Studies.

Swiss Museums with Collections of East Asian Art

Museum Rietberg (Zürich)

Students of East Asian Art History receive free admission to Museum Rietberg only upon presentation of a valid student ID and a confirmation card issued by the department.

Confirmation cards for free admission to the Kunsthaus and some other museums are available at the Institute of Art History's office (Rämistrasse 73). These cards must be stamped by the research assistants at the Chair of East Asian Art History to also grant free admission to the Museum Rietberg.
