Iheanyi  Onwuegbucha

Iheanyi Onwuegbucha, M.A.

Iheanyi Onwuegbucha, curator and art historian, is currently a PhD student in the Art and Archaeology Department at Princeton University and former Artistic Director of the Centre for Contemporary Arts, Lagos (CCA, Lagos). He is a 2016 Chevening Scholar with an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from the University of Leeds. His recent published critical essays include ‘Now, What Next: On Asiko Curatorial Platform’, in Condition Report III: Art History and Africa (Dakar: RAW Material Company) and ‘The Village Square Museum’, in The Museum of the Future. 43 New Contributions to the Discussion about the Future of the Museum, edited by Schnittpunkt (In Press). His current research interest includes post-civil war art in Eastern Nigeria.
